An artist with protean talents, Méryll Ampe sets out bridges between sound and sculpture by establishing her work on the notion of incorporeality.

In her sound artworks she fiddles and carves out of sounds collected in the everyday life, immersing her audience into a sphere of landscapes, textures and lightness.

Artiste protéiforme, Méryll Ampe déploie des parallèles entre le son et la sculpture en s'appuyant sur l'incorporalité. Dans ses pièces sonores, elle retaille, (dis)tord des sons collectés dans le quotidien pour nous plonger dans un univers de légèreté, de texture et de relief – un ressac minimaliste, feutré, comme une méditation nocturne.
