Claudio Yituey Chea's work comprises a multidisciplinary exploration of different aesthetics and methods of sound production. His pieces often go through a process of digital manipulation and composition, where recorded sounds from different environments (field recordings, acoustic and digital music and digital sound data) are analysed, regenerated, and sometimes left untouched. He aims to produce pieces for contemplative listening.
