Slavek Kwi

Slavek Kwi (Czech Republic) is a sound artist and composer fascinated by natural sound environments. He develops what he calls “audio-situations”, complex set-ups created mainly by field recordings of specific places, manifested as contemplations which are digitally fixed in the shape of multi-channel compositions, sound installations and CD editions.
For more than two decades he has also been particularly interested in free music as part of a social investigation using space itself and any objects which might function as musical instruments.
