Based in Shanghai, China, Torturing Nurse started on 2004.04.25.
The band has given more than 100 performances (noise, harsh noise, improv...) and other collaborations ; published more than 200 cd's, cdr's, vinyls and tapes.
They also run the noise label Shasha Records and organize the monthly noise/free/avant gigs in Shanghai called NOIShanghai
